Denise asked: "I have a sentence in one of my documents that ends "until December 31, 2024." (Editor: It's currently 2025) Every year, I have to manually enter the next year. So, next January 1st, I will have to remember to change 2024 to 2025. Is there a way to make a field that updates the year in that sentence to the year previous to the current year? (i.e. "until December 31, {LastYear}."

Yes, Denise, it's a piece of cake.

1. Create a Smart Answer Labelled Date (or something). Make it a Text Answer. Leave the Answer blank.
2. In the form, select the year portion of the date. Leave the leading space in place.
3. Use the Field command>Date>Function.
4. Choose the NOW function.
5.     Subtract 1
6. For Format choose the YEAR answer (2010)
7. Test it.

You can use the same instructions to subtract or add any number and by choosing the appropriate format, make it work for days or months. You’re set for decades to come.
