I’ve attached subset of my master will form it with trustee and guardian components to this question.

Here’s what I’m trying to accomplish:

  • A cumulative name/phone number/address entry system for a person’s powers of attorney, executors, guardians, and trustees
  • A simple way in the form to work with multiple agent situations for sets of guardians or sets of trustees:
    • Example: 2 possible guardians or 2 Co-Trustees, one a bank and one a person
    • My goal is to have it where I could designate a checkbox or dropdown box that says say “Trustee Only, Trustee and Guardian, or Guardian and Trustee.
    • Then I would pull the names of those who are chosen as Trustees from the Grid and put them into classes – first, second, and third.
    • The technique that was attached to the resource bank http://service.theformtool.com/entries/29927646-Master-Q-A-Table-Question (Trustee Designations.docx) works with one caveat – and that is that I don’t want to list all of the people from the grid in the series as I only want the list of those chosen as Trustees.
    • I’ve tried using a master list with Trustee 1, Trustee 2, Trustee 3, etc… but that doesn’t seem to work either
    • I’d want a similar approach for Guardians
      • If GRIDs could interact with one another, I’d love that, because then I’d use PickName for all of the personal info, and then
      • Basically, Powers of Attorney are easy, since we don’t allow joint agents – 1, 2, 3 is obvious. But what is not obvious is the multiple agent things without having up to 12 questions for more complex 2nd marriage estate plans with:
        • Husband’s Trustees, 1-3 sets
        • Wife’s Trustees, 1-3 sets
        • Husband’s Guardians, 1-3 sets
        • Wife’s Guardians, and 1-3 sets
        • My goal would be for simple cases to have 2 questions in the Q&A dealing with subsets that are filled with 2 yes/no questions in the grid (or maybe even a single question)
          • With the Grid populating up to:
            • Husband Trustee
            • Husband Trustee and Guardian
            • Husband Guardian
            • Wife Trustee
            • Wife Trustee and Guardian
            • Wife Guardian
            • Couple Trustee
            • Couple Trustee and Guardian
            • Couple Guardian
