TLC 2 How to Secure Your Forms Against Accidents
Accidents happen. Part of our job is to protect our sometimes substantial investments in IP against loss, specifically including intelligent documents. This can take two forms: prevention and recovery. This video discusses several ways to prevent accidental or deliberate erasure or over-writing of forms using tools provided by Doxserá, Word, Windows, and common sense. Use a combination for a layered defense and you'll be assured that even given a serious event, you're intelligent templates will be safe.
The common sense item is to ALWAYS backup. Even better, maintain a "gold standard" copy of your forms. Lock away the most current "perfect" version of your templates where they cannot possibly be damage in any event that damages your primary storage devices.
